An exciting opportunity to speak with Tony Slater Ling, a Director of Photography with thirty years of experience working in the british television industry.

Tony will be discussing his experiences starting out as one of four graduates selected for a placement with Channel 4 in the 1990s, rising through the ranks from trainee to clapper loader, to 2nd unit camera, until being offered the opportunity to work on Shameless (2004).

Since then he has worked on a variety of hugely successful British television series, including Doctor Who (2010), Mad Dogs (2013), Electric Dreams (2017), Years and Years (2019), and Dracula (2020).

He became a member of the BSC in 2014, and considers this one of his greatest achievements.
