Q&A with Commercial and Film Director Nick Goulden

Nicholas is passionate about writing and directing films which employ strong and interesting central characters that can explore human nature in all its guises – from the fabulous to the ridiculous, the awful to the wonderful.

He has also worked as a producer and assistant director and has a good knowledge of the production process. He has worked extensively across all formats with work in music videos and commercials, always with a focus on narrative storytelling.

Nicholas has a strong collaborative approach. For his latest film, Forget Me Not, he worked hand-in-glove with producer Angela Godfrey, as on many previous commercial projects with their production company Keen City, and had worked previously with many of the key team members, including Chris Fergusson, Tom Harberd, Emily-Rose Yiaxis and Marco Ruffatti.
