Laura Shannon is a graduate of the Northern Film School at Leeds Beckett University in Leeds.
Laura received mentorship through Film Buddy in 2020 and quickly went on to secure her first role in the Film and TV industry on the Channel 5 production of ‘Anne Boleyn’
Laura’s ambitions took her to London where she progressed quickly, working on a number of high profile productions including Dodger, Litvinenko, and the Netflix show ‘Three Body Problem’
Laura is now working as a VFX PA on the new ‘Aquaman’ Film and she joined us on Thursday 6th October to discuss her progressive journey so far and to answer the many questions our audience had about her role as VFX PA, working in entry level positions or the industry in general.
